Dr. Christina Amicone

Dr. Christina Amicone graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science in nutrition and a minor in Biology. She achieved her doctorate in naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle, WA, a school renowned for it's foundation in the medical sciences. She spent 3 years in a naturopathic residency program in Montana with a focus on naturopathic oncology and primary care. She worked with medical and radiation oncologists, co-managing oncology patients to prevent and reduce the side-effects of conventional treatments, prevent cancer recurrence and improve quality of life. Her residency also included a focus on naturopathic primary care at the largest naturopathic clinic in Montana and surrounding states. She has a special interest in naturopathic detoxification, gastrointestinal problems (including irritable bowel syndrome and inflammatory bowel disease), women’s health (annual exams, menstrual problems and menopause), autoimmune diseases, food sensitivities and cancer care.

Dr. Amicone is currently seeing patients at The Center for Natural Medicine in Watertown, CT. She is a provider for Anthem, Aetna, Cigna and Connecticare. Not all plans cover naturopathic care and we do ask that you verify this before your visit.
